Steve, LM. and Jay,
Thanks for dropping by, and for the comments. I hadn't thought of a "down to the wire finish" in terms of Canada Day, Steve, but I like the thought! A "AAA" Alberta Steak on the grill, a cold Canadian Brew, (Keiths works well ;)), a couple of Hornets blowing by for the local Canada day Flypast, and a Canadian Fokker fresh in the Display Case sounds like the perfect Canadian Celebration to me!
Happy Canada Day, fellow Canucks! 8)
Cheers,
Lance

Hello, Lance -

A brilliant result on your Canadian Fok DVII - looks lovely.

Here I am chugging along at the back of the pack yet again, but hey, better late than never. Now I know how my 8493/18 should look when finished, but you need not look over your shoulder as mine will be so far removed from your slipstream as to be invisible.

Superb modelling my friend! She looks absolutely beautiful. Definitely one that you should be proud to add to the shelf. Thanks also for including a full walk-around as those images will all be of great help for me.  ;D

Cheers,

Chris
You can have it good; You can have it fast; you can have it cheap. Pick any two, but all three are impossible.

I'm not a great fan of the DV11 but this is "stunning" I'm warming to this aircraft.

Lance,
You certainly know your way around the modelling table.
Excellent DVII  ;)
Thanks for sharing.

Many humble Thanks for the positive and complimentary feedback, Gents!
Chris...... "back of the pack"? I think not as I see a tiny scurrying dot way back in your six.........#3 of the Canadian Mafia! ::)
Thumbs up........not my favorite by any means either but She's growing on me. A very plain scheme, but definitely all business and "mean" looking. 8)
von Buckle Maker...............one big let down, only used half a dozen of your buckles; a real depressing feature of a virtually rigging free subject! :'(

Cheers,
Lance

Very beautiful. A very convincing mix of weathering methods. I like it very much.

I guess it is growing on you as I see you've signed up for the D.VII GB!

I'm a bit late commenting on this, but as I expected you've produced another great model. I love the look of the lozenge with the maple leaf. Well done Lance.

Cheers

Tom, Bob,
Thanks for the nice comments. Kind of wish I'd done this a few months later for the Group Build however since I'm struggling with which of several schemes to enter vs. searching for a scheme, I'd say it's not a biggie.
Cheers,
Lance
