Super job Vincent, as several others have said, truly hard to believe this is 1:72; the vignette is very cool, well done.

Thanks Bo. It's just tiny plastic bits compared to what some of you guys here do on those amazing WNW kits. I still have a long way to go before I can do something approaching. But I kind of tested myself to see what I would be able to do on WWI a/c at my usual scale, in order to see if I could go on with a small series of aces' birds. Your comments encourage me to go further.

Hi Vincent
Unique model.
Fine workmanship and very realistic look.
Vignette was received very well, especially with the mechanic behind.
Congratulations on the finished model and I look forward to the next.
BRAVO.

Best Regards
Hristo

Just superb work, Vincent,  Your attention to detail is absolutely amazing.
Lovely vignette as well.  Beautifully displayed.  I really look forward to
your Pfalz build.  I am sure it will be a stunner like the Albatros.  Well done!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Thanks guys.
The Pfalz should be a little easier to build, as I plan an overall silver finish with orange geometric markings (can't remember which Jasta it is). This should allow me to combine a WWI a/c with the "silver wing" look of the 1930's biplane, which I'm fond of.

Thanks. I must admit I love it. I definitely fell in love with those old colorful warbirds.

That's it. Pfalz D-IIIa, Jasta 30, Ltn Georg von der Marwitz:

The profile depicts a D-III with buried Spandaus but time pix show a D-IIIa.
