Thank's guy's  :)

Okay , here we go . Lozenge on the tail feathers are from the kit . No point on using Aviattic's lozenge when it is pretty much going to be covered in red paint . Over all effect turned out not to bad . Rudder has it's base coat of white paint and shading done in Tamiya smoke waiting for it's top coat of white for better blending of this effect ( went to heavy with the smoke )

Axle wing , inter struts and the cab struts are painted as well as the wheels . The wheel covers have lozenge as well done in the same manner as the tail feathers .

Fantastic, Terri!  That red is suitably vibrant and will really jump from the lozenge.  Very nice work, indeed!

Coming along well, Terri -

It's great to see the model start to change once you get a splash of paint on ............

Brilliant work, T!  The lozenge see-thru effect is superb.

It has been pretty humid here of late so just to be on the safe side I want things nice a cured . In the mean time I will start work on the guns and figure out what the hell I'm going to about the engine !

This model is shaping up really well Terri, the red is a great colour and your pre shading is looking good, nice work on the tail.

Thank-you very much guy's for the feed back  :)

I've looking over the engine in the kit and it is basically wrong in the shape of the crank case and the cylinders  :( Then the thought of using the Siemens engine from Tom's Modelworks Pfalz D.VII/III kit and this has a few issue with it as well . The cylinders aren't lined up  :( and it's crack case isn't right either even though the detail is done rather well ! Well what about the Vector resin one ! As much as I would love to get one , it's not in the cards and it won't fit in the cowl . An easy fix by just shorting the cylinders where the meet the crank case , shorting the push rods and the induction pips . saving all that wonderful detail on the cylinder tops !

Now the question is ...do I scratch build one , this could take awhile or just use what is in the kit ...
I'm not a fan of white metal so I will swap out the metal one for a resin one and go from there .
