You have done a superb job Squiffy, hard to believe that this excellent model is the old basic Airfix kit.

Great job Squiffy,we should have a group build where we take an old naff kit and see what we can do with it.

Outstanding work on that OLD basic kit Squiffy! It was great to see your processes while following your build!

This, for me, is possibly the longest gap between posting completed builds. No sooner had I completed the R.E8 than I started WNW 1/32nd F.E2b.

Having a week away from work, sick, has helped get this one done but it's been a mighty battle with tubes and eyelets for the rigging! It looks rather good in the photos but I assure you it isn't as good as it could be.

This is the first model of any kind that I have painted using an airbrush. It may be somewhat silly to learn as you go on a large and expensive kit but fortune favours the brave...  ;D

That is an excellent build and never mind the first attempt with the airbrush - it certainly looks as though fortune has smiled on you.

Congratulations Squiffy on completing this awesome looking model. Your first attempt at using an air brush certainly payed off, the model is excellent in all respects and the rigging is superb, well done.

Squiffy,
This is an absolutely lovely build all around! Your airbrushing looks fantastic as does the rigging and all of the construction!
