Well done, Dave.
Tis no easy thing to string a bird as stringy as the Fee - you did a splendid job!

Cheers,

Very nicely done Squiffy! Now you'll have to build a whole new aerodrome....

Ian

I don't think so, Ian. In fact I'm struggling to find somewhere to simply display this beast, never mind build a 32nd scale aerodrome!
I have space for up to five 32nd scale kites to be hung in the shed and, after that, I won't be building any more in this scale simply because of a lack of space. I already have the WNW Pup and an Academy Camel built so with the Fee I have two two more to build. As I have a Snipe and an S.E5a in the stash that's my lot for 32nd.

That said I could be easily tempted to replace the Academy Camel with the WNW version when it appears.

I'll stick the Academy one on top of the shed as a weather vane.  ;D

Congratulations on a superb result Squiffy - I'm truly inspired by your dedication to the rigging and only hope I will have thee resolve to do likewise. Beautiful looking model, bet you are well chuffed.

Thanks, chaps. I've gone back to my usual scale for this one. Built from the old Revell kit again.

That's one hell of a collection, Squiffy!  Excellent modeling all 'round and cleverly staged and photographed.  Bravo!

Thanks, chaps.

With all this holiday time I've got a few different kites on the go, at various stages of completion. I bought this one not long after the start of the French GB and was originally going to do it for the GB. The kit is Eastern Express and comes with decals for a Russian machine but as I had no French decals I have finished it as a machine of 60 Squadron RFC. To be truly complete it needs the serial number on the tail but that will have to wait until I make a batch of decals for other projects too.

Your Eindecker and Morane are beautiful additions to your collection. Very well done on both!

Lovely little Morane, Squiffy. The fuselage looks a lot more accurate than Revell's ....

Thanks, chaps.  ;D

The Bullet is now completed with serial number. A199 was the aircraft of 2nd Lt. H. Meintjes.

And so onto another 60 Squadron kite...

The second off the production line of holiday projects is completed.

2nd Lt. Keith Caldwell's 'grid', - Nieuport 17 A6646.

I built this from a Revell Nieuport 17 but modified it by adding a Roden engine and Eduard engine cowling, home-made decals all-round and a cast brass Lewis gun.

These are two more little gems Squiffy. You do make them quickly but always to a very high standard. The airfield is just right for display - the figures and props are inspiring.
