I don't exactly 'climb' but I do put my camera on a fully extended tripod and raise it up like a mast looking down into the cockpit. Particularly important for high aircraft like the Fee and the Snipe as I can't easily reach in. Yes they do let me get as close as I like. I polish the floor on the hangar with my back to get some shots  ;)  They know me quite well, I have visited quite a few times  :)

Sara Randal says haven't you got enough photos? But they always have new aircraft. I am getting quite impatient for the LVG C.VI to arrive from France. That will be a blast!
