Thanks James for the update, it appears the Dambuster movie will be quite a long time away but promises to be a beaut when it finally is released.

Wow! Ten Lancasters already built? That must have cost PJ a bomb! Sorry, had to say it.

Seriously though, ten sounds like a misquote...surely they are counting mock-ups and scale models? Can anyone confirm a squadron of Lancaster bombers flying around Wellington lately?

From what I have read the ten Lancasters are just mock-ups, non flying, just 1:1 scale models, but to see ten of them all lined up would be quite impressive.

It sure would be! I always get a kick walking underneath and around 'G for George' whenever I'm in Canberra (which is not often, as I'd otherwise avoid the place like the plague!). However, having ten lined up on the tarmac, even if they are life scale models, would certainly be something to see!
