Hello everyone ,

I`m glad everyone likes the lozenge work . I finally got the painting done !Looking forward to doing the Hanover ! I started to decal the markings instead od spraying them on and this is what happened !

Instead of checking twice I just put the decals on and let them dry ! I did not notice the mistake until I took the photo :( the Tail marking is correct but the other ones are side ways . Well I only had two decals of the correct size :(.  Now I have to use the masks ! After a couple of hours (2days) I corrected the mistake .

I started work on the gunners ring by adding small rivets to the gun mount and trying to make the gun ring look like it was made with four pieces of wood .With the glossy look it is hard to see . Once it is finished it will be toned down with some flat and semi to give it an eggshell look .

Thank you to all !

I am trying my best not to mess it up ! I still have a way`s to go . Last night I finished up the gunners ring . I guess it came out O.K. I did add some nail decals but are hard to see .

Now it`s off to work on the landing gear and bottom of the LVG . want to finish that before the rest of the decals go on .

I missed this but I've just had  mine down out of the stash and was looking for schemes. You made me choke on my wine. That's saying something, cos it's a nice expensive one I've been saving. Excellent work! Super so far. I'd like to see an AM set for this.

 Willi,
Awesome project my old friend. Your gun ring really something else and turned out so well. Outstanding touch with the nail decal too. looking forward to seeing more of the outstanding project later on. You mentioned you're working on a U-boote and a Schnell Boote. What scale are they in and where can I see them? I've be know to venture into ship building as well especially Coastal Forces.
Highest Regards,

Hi Gregory,

I have not posted any pic`s of the boats yet ,Lazy :) . I found a forum that deals with Subs so that`s what got me interested again . It`s my second type VIIC and got another on to build VIIC41 all in 1/72 scale .
