Harry Tate will be known to most of us here. He was a British comedian known for his vaudeville and cinematic performances. "Flying" was one such act he used in music halls, in which he brought out a home-made looking Bleriot, aptly nicknamed the Taterplane, and interacted with the variety of odd adornments he had stuck to it. It was from this show that the term " 'arry Tate" became slang for the RAF R.E.8.
Might be a nice effect to reproduce the poster in 1/32 scale to put on an easel next to the WNW model
