You have achieved a beautiful finish on your wings! It looks as though your rigging starting points are right where you want them, very clean!

Hello Vags:

Great work on the wings.  They turned out nicely. Can't really see the shading in the photo's but I know what you mean using clear smoke.
The rigging tutorial is a nice touch.
Looking forward to the next update.

Best

That is the point Mark. If you had seen it it would have been too much. It almost disappears towards the center of the wing but it is there. You can see it clearly towards the wing tip where the lens is right above. That is the beauty of using transparent smoke.

Excellent work and presentation of your progress.  I never thought to use a paper clip to keep loose rigging lines tidy!

As thothers said before me, a wonderful presentation and excellent modelling. This is going to be a real eye catcher! I will definately be returning to this threaf when I start mine otzu. Still I have one general question:  was it really that silvery? I was having the impresion that it was some kind of a mix btw silver and white. Of course I may be totally wrong. I'm asking this as I'm considering this as one of my nezt builds.
Best regards,
Sasho

Dear  Ssasho0,

No it was not that silvery, neither the real one nor the model. It just looks more silvery than normal due to the lighting - silver/aluminum color retains its habit to reflect light even in mat or satin finish. So you are right, the right color in my opinion is something between silver and white, that is why I used the White Aluminum Alclad paint properly treated as previous slides show.

Good luck on your own Salmson/Otsu-1. I am sure you will enjoy it.
