Wow. I usually don't care for dioramas, but that is a work of art. I love the frame treatment as well.

Absolutely STUNNING work! The water, figures,  and aircraft are all perfectly executed and painted! The presentation including the Map on the side and Title Plate is ingenious!

Thanks for alerting us to this PrzemoL. The W.29 diorama is just breathtaking. Apart from the technical ability the vision to do something like this must be great.

Best wishes
Nigel

That is amazing artistry.  Besides the total scene, I've never seen water modeled  that well before.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Pretty neat diorama!  Well thought out, well executed. Like Bo, I like the framework as well.  Gives a real sense of foreboding doom.

That is an excellent piece of work, super representation of a squally sea, with the crew trying to rescue one another from the water.

Thanks for posting this, Prez!  I had seen this dio elsewhere with the figures just roughed in.  I was hoping I'd get to see it finished.  It's a truly remarkable diorama.  Staring at it, you can actually see and feel the movement, feel the cold and the fear.
Cheers,
Bud

You know what really does it for me? .... It's the water, yeah I know: but the representation of it is almost a platitude when viewing such rarefied quality as this.
No, what really takes it to the next level for me is the "weight" of it, he's captured the swell, the body of water, and it's movement so beautifully it's simply amazing, it has fantastic dynamism and I feel this is what largely dictates the sense of futility in their struggles.

And I also have to concur, in order to create this from a blank sheet takes quite some vision.

Marvellous.

  Prze,
Thank you very much for sharing this amazing diarama with us my old friend. Very unusual setting for a diarama but still anawesome work of art.
