RAGIII,
That's a lovely little Fokker! I've never heard of that brand of decals but the finish is really spectacular. The scheme is new to me as well, Jasta 11??
Cheers,
Lance

Beautiful model, Rick. I haven't heard of the streaking decals, but it certainly
is an option.  You have done wonders with it.  Superb job!

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Revell 1/72 with Pheon decals.

After viewing on the laptop, I didn't realize the turquoise was that bright! It's rather subdued in person.

Lance, Ernie, and Patrick,
I appreciate your comments. The German Fokker Streaking Decals were made by Gunsight Graphics and at one time were available in 1/72nd,1/48th, 1/32nd, and one could Special order 1/28th. I guess a combination of things caused the owner/creator, Sean Brian Kirby to Lose interest/Drop out of Production. A shame as they were quite nice.

Hello Stan,

Another great looking model in 1/72. My respect for that. Pitty of the photo a little out of focus. But magnificent work!

Kind regards
Patrick

Hello Rick:  This is really a neat scheme and you did an outstanding job on the streaking:  always a tricky bit of painting and experimenting.  You did a great job on it, and your 1/48 with the decals is equally outstanding, although,...........I do like your streaking better than the decal,  it looks more authentic and I know the effort it takes to get the streaking just right, not to take away from your work, but just saying.

Lance:  Your is equally outstanding, I remember following along on the build log on this.  Great job.

Model nut:  Great job on your tripe.  I like your back yard photo's, reminds me of south Minneapolis.

Thanks for sharing these great kits and builds

Best

Hello Radio:

I remember a string of emails about the color and markings of this bird.  I think you really captured it quite nicely.   Outstanding workmanship and attention to detail.  What kit is this?

Okay, Here are a couple of my Aurora DRI in Von Tutschekcs markings.  It was an experiment to try to capture the streaking.

I used acrylics over enamels.  When I do another it will be oils over acrylics.

Enjoy
