Morane Saulnier Type N. 1/32 S/Hobby
« on: January 05, 2014, 08:20:36 AM »
Well here we are - finally. My first ever WW1 aircraft, and probably my first aircraft build in forty years. A learning curve from the beginning, and built by myself but with the help and support of the forum membership. Many thanks chaps.

No fluff and bluster then: straight in with the pic's ... sink or swim.

Morane Saulnier Type N ... 1/32 Special Hobby.

Very many thanks everyone.

This is really a spectacular build Andi, particularly since it's your first after many years.  ;D  I have built this kit, and it is no picnic, but builds up into a very nice model,  You have done an extremely fine job of it!  This is one of the best looking Moranes I have seen Andi!  I really like the colors, finsh and weathering, and your rigging is first rate.  Very well done!

Regards,

Bob

Hello Andi:

Outstanding workmanship all around.  This really turned out nice especially after a 40 year hiatus, really speaks well of your modeling and artistic ability and skills.

Best

Beautifully done all around! The weathering in particular strikes me as being very nice! As I stated in your build log the cowling finish also is OUTSATANDING!

Congratulations Andi on completing a superb build and showing us a stunning model. Your build was a pleasure to watch and to now see the end result is such a delight, very well done and I hope to see many more WW1 aircraft models come from your bench, you certainly have the skills and talent to build what ever aircraft you want.

Your Ms N turned out to be a real beauty!!! I love the weathering and the CDL. I would add a little bit chipping to the spinner and the cowling though. One of the best MS N models I`ve ever seen.
Best regards
Filip
