Fokker E.II 1/48 Eduard Weekend + Taurus Models
« on: December 31, 2013, 12:59:45 AM »
Hello! I`ve managed to finish her just before the New Year. A decent model indeed, but it needs some work to make it look like E.II -  more in Under Construction section... I got the beautiful Spandau from Łukasz - Taurus Models - anyone who wants to build an early German fighter should try it - its fabulous!
My model depicts Fokker nr. 68/15, flown by Lt. Brückmann - AA Gaede during late 1915.

Very nice indeed Filip! My first action on seeing these delightful photos of a great build was to go the the stash  and get out my own  unbuilt model. It really showed what you have achieved.

Best wishes
Nigel

Hello Filip:

Outstanding model!  The Pictures had me fooled.  I thought at first it was a photo of the real one.  Great build!

Absolutely beautiful Eindecker, Filip!  Your attention to detail is amazing.  The
paintwork and rigging, flawless. Your period photos are very well done.  All in
all, a marvelous model, my friend.  I look forward to your next project.

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Truly brilliant Eindecker, Filip!  One of the best I've seen.  The vintage photos are a very nice touch.

Filip.

I congratulate a wonderful building of this model.
Looks great cover.
In black and white photographs of yours Fokker looks like real.
31-12-2014 Yesterday You finished your Fokker , I just today 01-01-2014, the year in which 100 years ago began the Great War I began preparations for building WNW Fokker E. III E.II or (I not yet decided on version).
Parallel to empty the stash I will be doing Fokker E.III (Smer) and Pfaltz E.IV (ICM) 1:72 scale.

Adam.
