Absolutely beautiful work, Paolo.  Congratulations on your
amazing accomplishment!  A very big job, but you pulled
it off brilliantly.  I don't think the streaking could get any better. :D

Cheers,
Ernie :)

Paolo, I love the work you have done here and have learned so much from it.

I have one question. Someone has warned me about the interplane struts, telling me that they require major surgery to fit accurately. Did you have any such problem with them?

Best wishes
Nigel

All those problems, and the end results are really nice....  You overcame a lot of major issues.  The oil streaking is really great.  We have an saying at work; "What makes a good model maker, is not that you won't make a mistake, because you will, it's how well you can recover from your mistake."  Clearly your a good model maker....That was a good recovery....

thank you all, gents!

really, I'm so bored about this project that I pick up from the stash something so bad and ugly to try to rejoin the WWI modeling area... :o

nigel, the wing struts are pretty sturdy, just you'll have to test fit those, eventually enlarging a little bit the holes in the wings... using the flex-i-file glue I literally "solved" any occurence.... ;)

xan, my god! that picture made me mad for a while!
after some deep breathing, now I suppose and tell to myself that it's just a repainting of the black crosses on the second machine, being the first one the number 213/17...
