Thanks guys!

To Jaceck, no rods in my engine too..
Thank you very much Albatros, but an answer call an other question:
Post war too?:

Well, today main fuel tank.
Not finished, but what a struggle!

First step, easy...

Two "hard" lips to accept some aggression:

0,3mm brass  sheet annealed, and then all shots are allowed!

To be honest it's hard!
But "impossible" is not french...
Wait and see.

Dan.

After the tank struggle, now a special post to Lindsay and may be for others...
My worksop! I know, i'm a lucky modeler.
But nothing really impressive:

Close up on the mill, chinese one:

And on the lathe, an old Emco 3, made in Austria!

You are welcome Lindsay!
Dan.

Thanks gentlemen!
Without equipment, scratch building would become a nightmare!

Fuel tank, more but not the end.
But ends!

Nice game, the ends are not vertical!
Ok...

Another way to form :

Not so bad...

I forgot... Why brass for this one? Because lot of welding to come and it will be painted!

Have a nice WE!
Cheers, Dan.

You are welcome Lindsay!

Thank you very much, Dan. You're right, nothing fancy, but well set up nonetheless. I expected to see a door marked "Lockheed" given the work that goes on in there.

Keep turning out the incredible work!

Lindsay

Lovely job on the fuel tank Dan, some intricate shaping need there. Very nice set-up in your workshop as well, all the tools and equipment you need to pull off such wonderful work.

Tank is finished!

Some of you must be wondering where is the logic in this WIP ...
There is one. I remind you that Mr. Hasegawa in the box " Museum Series" has shown only the outside ... No engine , no fuel tank, only drawn on a fine aluminum sheet (the skin). So I can not avail myself of the pieces provided.
A photo will be more explicit , a beautiful montage " OOB " on ScaleMotorcars by MOUPPE  :

So I have to adjust everything with my items ... The tank will be the base.
I hope I made myself understood ...

Dan.

Your work on this one continues to be beyond my comprehension! A True Work of Art! What a difference from the OOB kit!

Thanks RAGIII!

Today, stamping, on the mill...

Why? May be for a VICKERS 303...
In front, you can recognize:

Not so bad...
