It was little even in it's own real size, but you did handle that gem quite nicely.

Great looking Dr.1, love that scheme and the overall look.

Congrats for it.

Cheers

Avery good example of high quality modelling there. The colours are excellent especially the streaky colours on the wings and fuselage. Do you know who the pilot was?

You're not mistaken. It was indeed  Ltn. Lothar von Richthofen. According to the instruction leaflet it was Jasta 11, 1918. I'm sorry, I always forget to put the details in the post, I really must work on that. :)

Thanks for all the kind words, guys. I appreciate it.

Very nice. I like the yellow contrasting with the streaky camo. Definitely one of the more striking Dr.1s.

A very nice Dreidecker! As the others here I really like the scheme! I really admire those of you who have enough guts to build WWI planes in 1/72!
I would recommend that in your next model you should work a little bit more on the seams after joining the two halves of the fuselage together.
Best regards
Filip

Nice work, Ken! Tell me, what method did you use for the streaking effect on the wings?

It was just dry brushing the darker colour onto the light.

Once more, thanks for all the kind words.

@xmald - I'll try harder next time. :)

A perfect example of what can be achieved with a model in 1:72 scale, a great all round finish resulting in a very attractive model, congratulations and well done Ken.
