Thanks so much Phillip, Des and Guy. Your kind comments are much
appreciated! Yes Guy, I have begun the Pfalz. I'll start a build log before
too long.
Cheers,
Ernie

Ernie you did a fantastic job, I look forward to enjoying some detail photo (especially the cockpit with the rearview mirror...) in the Completed Models section.
Ciao

There's something so attractive about a Nieuport 17 and you are really doing this one proud Ernie. Keep up the great work.
Best wishes

Looks good Ernie:
I like your undercarriage support brackets. Adds additional interest to that area. This is not an easy model to build and you did an outstanding job. I really like the contrast between the upper wing being painted camouflage and the rest silver. Really a striking scheme and your preshading with silver turned out perfect.
Best

Rick, Antonio, Steve, Nigel & Mark, thank you for your generous
comments. The Nieuport, besides one of my favourite aeroplanes,
was a fun build with no terrible problems. The Academy kit is a great
kit for a newer WWI modeller.
Cheers,
Ernie
