Evening gents,
As I'm waiting for the lozenge to come through, I'd thought I'd have a bash at a figure - not my forte, not at all confident, but he can always go in the bin at the end!

Modelkasten figure (very nice I think).
I'm following LarsaQ's 'how to' thread with interest (copying basically..)

Although I have started a little differently. It's my intention to use Humbrol oils, but I thought a base coat of acrylics wouldn't do any harm, and I've tried to give it a little depth to kick off the effect. Grey primer out of a rattle can, followed by a base coat airbrushed on of black, followed by 3, gradually lightening, shades of grey misted over from above. All the painting up until now is by airbrush, just masking the different areas for the browns and flesh. I quite like it so far, but know that I'll probably like it less and less and it progresses!
Bear in mind, this is just the base coat so far. Oils next up.

I don't promise to post the finished article!
Cheers
Guy
