Nice photos of German flying helmets & goggles

Saw these while browsing the web:



Leather body with comb, bead and front screen as well as ears and neck protection with chin strap. Lining bell stamped inside: horizontal oval stamp. "Herfeld & Settberg / leather goods - leather manufacturing / Eberfeld", "59" (head size) stamped in the neck guard: "1918" (in the rectangle) / "FLG BEKL / Doberitz"





Goggles for pilots, eye glasses with nickel-iron version, base made ​​of black fabric. White fabric ribbons.

About 30 years ago, I saw a guy riding a moped in Switzerland wearing those same goggles. He looked to be quite elderly so they may have been original issue. Thanks for posting the excellent photos.
