I realise there are already some fine Tripes around but I would like to show you my effort, too. I decided to build the twin-Vickers version, namely the N534 flown by Dallas, Minifie and Maynard in Naval 1st.
I have almost finished the interior. The last point before closing the fuselage will be attaching of the control lines for trimming the horizontal stabiliser to the piston at the rear fuselage. While checking the photos in WD22 and the WNW instruction booklet I did not notice any serious missing items, so the interior is pretty much out of the box, with the exception of the rigging, of course. Well, I have added the straps on the rudder bar and removed the imitation of rigging at the three rear bays of the fuselage to replace it with the fishing line - Bob's buckles combination.
After the dry fit assembly I have also realised that all the control lines will be quite visible behind the pilot seat. So I decided to run all of them all the way from the cockpit to the final destinations. That maze of lines was a bit cumbersome to control but finally I managed to pass each of them through appropriate holes without making any knots or tangles.

Outstanding work as always Przemol. I always enjoy your projects, this one will be followed closely as the WNW Tripe is very close, if not first, on my next on the workbench list.
Cheers,
Lance

As always, Prez, gorgeous cockpit work. The plane you've chosen to model is my favorite of all Tripes. I plan on doing that one in 1/48, using your build as a guide.
Cheers,
Bud

I love the rigging too. The fabric and fuselage frame looks totally convincing.

What a wonderful job your are doing on the Tripe, PrzemoL!
Your woodwork is great. What did you use for the wood parts-
oil paint or something else? Whatever you used, it's gorgeous.
Well done on the rigging and control lines. I imagine it's tedious
work, but it really adds a lot to the model. I look forward to more
progress photos. Thanks for sharing with us.
Cheers,
Ernie

You do have a nice start!
The rigging detail and the "wood" it's fantanstic.
I'm sure that this one will be a great build.
Cheers.

Thank you for your kind words, everybody. I am glad you like this build.
Ernie, the wood is painted entirely with acrylics. I start with a beige base (Pactra Mid Stone), then brush some darker brownish pattern (this time I have used Vallejo Beige Brown) and finally apply a couple of thin layers of Pactra Clear Orange until I get a satisfying saturation. A wash using brown water colours sealed with an acrylic clear gloss or semi-gloss lacquer completes the job.
In the meanwhile I have closed the fuselage, nothing really special to show in a photo. The drawing at the bottom of page 7 in the WNW instruction booklet tells the story precisely
Now this build and all my modelling activities will now have to pause, as on Saturday I am going to 3-week holidays. I will return to bore you at the end of July
