She's coming along very well, Fred.  Your woodwork is a
heck of a lot quicker drying than oils, and looks the part
as well.  All in all, it looks really good.  Thanks for sharing with us.

Best Regards,
Ernie

Thanks Ernie  :)

Entire month of June I was away from home. Only now I have time to look at our forum. I saw that you are doing model that I also made. Maybe it's not too late, and maybe something with my work useful to you.
So look here.

Hi Adam
The links you've added seem to be dead. Can you check them and repost them? I'd like to have a look at your work.
Cheers

I still haven't received my air compressor  from the hobby shop >:( I hope I get it this week, but in the mean time I went ahead and painted all the wing surfaces with Aqueos H85 Sail Color using a 1/2 flat pure sable brush. It looks ok to my eye with the brush strokes adding some variations in color and texture that sprayed on paint lacks. I kinda like it.

It's a bit more visible in this closeup shot...

I'm going give the surfaces a wash that will make the wings "pop" a bit....

any advice and tips a surely welcome  ;D

Tried the washes using Citadel Seraphim Shade... Not quite the result I was after, but i do like the dirty look that was achieved...

I might add another wash diluted a bit, to even out the effect, but I'm not sure if i want to keep it or start over.

What do you think? Anyone. Critiques welcome. I'm sort of learning as I go.. :-[
