Given the incredible skill  on display in this forum, I thought I should add some balance to the modeling universe by posting a few pics of my first two builds since returning to modeling after a 30 year hiatus. They’re really more of a collection of minor mishaps but I’m having a lot of fun building them……

After a thirty year hiatus you say? Well my friend rest assured you certainly show no evidence of any lost skills .Both are Outstanding project additions to the works posted here. Very impressive projects and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your projects here in the future.

30 years you say; I have trouble working to your standard after a 2-3 week break!! ;) Very nice and hope you continue to enjoy your return to the Hobby.

Very nice indeed. If those are mishaps, I can't wait to see what you can produce once you're back in your stride!

Excellent work FF!  I particularly like the care you've taken to create interesting and detailed settings in which to showcase these beautiful models. I'm not sure that I have the patience to do that. ;D  Very well done indeed! Welcome back.  :)

Bob

Both are superb models equal to any seen here on this forum. Adding figures really brings the models to life and the dio around the W29 is excellent. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot more of your ''mishaps'' soon  ;)

Uh-oh, I just got knocked down another rung on the ladder. A 30 year hiatus you say?? Ai-yi-yi! I can hardly wait to see what you do when you get comfortable again.  ;D

Cheers,

Chris

Not everyone here builds top, museum quality models. I know I don't.
I just do the best I can but, like you, I have fun and that's what's important.  :)
