Non-Lozenge Hannover Cl.III paint schemes?
« on: May 09, 2012, 10:03:48 PM »
Recently I received a little 1/72 scale airfix Hannover CL.III, but it has no lozenge decals of any description and I have no confidence in my ability to do them myself, especially in 1/72, can anyone offer any schemes that do not have any Lozenge to speak of?

you can take a look at wings pallette but i think the vast majority  had lozenge wings with hand painted polygons on the monocoque fuselage. ive seen some with loz just on the wings with solid or 2 tone fuselage. you may have to do something other than a german hannover though most likely polish.

In the Datafile there is a training aircraft with a pale blue fuselage. May still have had lozenge fabric on the wings. There are some new loz decals released by Nordland Models - did you see that?

I've ordered a number of Decal sheets from this Gent on Ebay; and He's a trustworthy, honest seller.

Here's a sheet of 1/72 scale lozenge Decals he's offering..:

I actually bought this Decal sheet for that 1/72 scale Hannover model.. ;)
