I agree whole-heartedly.  Stunning craftsmanship all around.  If I had seen only those last few photos, I'd have thought she was either the Koster or the Eduard 1/48 kit.
Cheers,
Bud

Very fine modeling. Great work in the interior being all so small.

Cheers

Thanks folks, most kind!

A little more progress, slowly but surely.  Fuselage is together now.  As you can see, I went a bit berserk with the filler.  I fattened out the cheek cowls a little too to meet the cowl, and deepened the fuselage a little (~1/2 mm or so) too to match the datafile drawings by skinning the lower fuselage with card. This helped to avoid the nasty fit issues of the kit under-nose part.  I also scratched the tail skid / rear fuselage area.

It looks messy, but has come up ok under a coat of primer.  Some areas still to clean up, but not too bad...

I'm away from the bench for another week or so with work, but I think the next thing to tackle might be some undercarriage...

Cheers!

Thanks folks, you're too kind  :) With the fuselage together, the first tricky bit is done.... the second (and probably worst) tricky bit will be the wing alignment - old kits like this aren't renowned for their ease of construction.... but at least there aren't too may struts to align!

Thanks again,
