Hi Albatros,

no worries at all. I guess as I've had a copy of Methuen for over thirty years it has become an integral part of my modelling/research hobby and I can tune into articles by Ray Rimell, D-S Abbott, Ian Baker (Aviation History Colouring Book series), Ian Huntley etc. It is a pity a more modern version is not available - possibly extended with extra hues and perhaps an extra row and column for greater range. One problem with the existing editions is that the printing is actually quite pixellated - produced by a colour layer with added grey tone. It seems to make RGB analysis (using Photoshop etc) unreliable and misleading and visual comparison sometimes as well.

Anyhow, I'm near to finishing a WNW Pup with the Pheon C.312 'nightfighter' scheme to go along with a finished Mc Cudden Pup (also Pheon). Quite a contrast.

Cheers,

GrahamB
