1/35 Bob Semple Tank design, print, and build
« on: July 15, 2026, 01:13:55 AM »
Designing and building a 1/35th scale model of the famous Bob Semple tank. This model is intended for the Aladin Models design competition. The deadline is tomorrow. I've been working on it on and off, but now I really need to make a break for it.

This one is modeled after the no.1 with seperated parts for the corrugated steel sheet as their configuration varied between the three tanks built, and points in time.

I've done most of the parts, this leaves the running gear and engine deck. I should be done in time to submit before the deadline in 16 hours or so.

Best of luck with the deadline - hopefully you can print one so we can see it in the flesh!

Bob has been completed , right on time for the deadline.

This is my first time making tank treads. A lot of cursing at Blender was involved but it worked out.
