Got some brass rod earlier today and decided to have a go at replacing the engine rocking arms and structure for one of the pulley struts with 0.5mm and 1mm brass rod respectively.

All the parts are here, test assembly. Some pieces were damaged so I replaced them with brass rod. I should design for brass rods in the kit from now on.
How do you deal with the limited image size here?

Hi Sarilou, I'm using an online photo editor to downsize the images:

Good progress on the design work.

Most of us use an external picture hosting site like Imgur so that we can embed links to larger images.

Build is done, sadly forgot to take a lot of pictures.

Tried using rigging for the first time. Was on display at an event at the RTAF museum. Didn't win any prizes but quite a few people liked it. Will build Nieuport IV #2 at some point later because a friend wants one. That one will be an improved design with better tolerances, joints, and brass rod reinforcements for the wings. I had to join the wings with superglue , UV resin, and putty to make it work here.

I'll make a Nieuport II N as well. From what I've seen its the same fuselage and wings, just with a different engine and cowling.

The 3D print files for this will be available on the Aladdin Models website soon, unsure of physical printed kits due to issues with the producer.

Was a fun build, will post a thread for Nieuport IV #2 when I get around to that. Right now I'm working on other stuff such as modern warships and a 1/35th scale Bob Semple tank that are out of scope for this forumn.
