Thanks so much lady and gentlemen. You folks have been my heroes over the last 5 years or so, and your build logs, discussions and final builds have meant a lot to someone who was out of the game for well over five decades. I'll say another thing too. This is the nicest, most knowledgeable and supportive group of folks on the internet. That's unheard of since the inception of comment sections on the world wide web. You all rock.

Lovely Pfalz, Warren. I really like your interpretation of the stripes: looks just right.
Nice paint job.
Shows how good these Roden kits can be made to look.

A Roden Pfalz D.IIIa converted into a D.III.
Very nicely done, the Roden models are generally somewhat underestimated, with a little effort and dedication beautiful models can be built from them.
Unfortunately, these kits often struggle with badly warped or bent wings across every biplane type series.
Especially the upper wing.

I like the color scheme you chose for the Jasta 30 and it matches the D.IIIa very well.
The propeller also looks quite good.
A beautifully done conversion - bravo.

A small remark about the ailerons on your model, they both point downwards, at least one of them should be deflected slightly upwards.

Warren: your comment just made my week (month?). We have such a special community here and sometimes I tend to take it for granted. It means so much to read comments like yours.
