I would buy a 1/48th scale version.

Yep, so would I, I guess that would be an acceptable compromise, my workbench is not apt to host such a building...

I DO have the Choroszy Modelbud 1/72 kit, but it is quite daunting.

It's just a bag of resin bits and -to be diplomatic- a very basic instruction sheet.

Willem, I have the same kit and agree with your description...

Looks beautiful, but based on their pricing, I will have to start saving my pennies/dollars now until the release.

Definitely an impressive and weird machinery. The Italian theme is also much more appealing to me than the German Gotha/AEG bombers. Guess what the consumer price will be?

Anyway, right now I don't want to build a new room for my property for the sake of a 1/32 Caproni. Another problem might be the width of the front door. Obviously the unassembled kit will fit through the door, but what if I assemble it and want to bring to a competition? ;D
I wonder if it will be available in a smaller scale?

Hi Richard,
The 'Lukgraph' FB page said they may consider 1:48th scale and the previous render shots shows 1:32, 1:48,

Hi all,
According to 'Lukgraph':

"Be healthy and happy!
By the way, right after the new year we're releasing Caproni Ca.3",

From what I heard at the source, 32nd version will be released first. 48th is planned for mid 2025.

And it will not be cheap...

Hi all,
I asked what the sizes will be,

Mike

"Wingspan for 1:32 approx 710 mm and for 1:48 approx 476 mm.
The wings will be reinforced with triple wire (2 x 1.6 mm and 1 x 2 mm for 1:32 scale and 2 x 1 mm, 1 x 1,2 mm for 1:48).
Additionally, there will be trestles under the wings on 2 sides.
All struts and undercarriage with wires."

I heard the same. I'm afraid my bankmanager (read wife) will not approve.

The clue is to get it secretly into the house. Then you can always tell <<Oh..this? This is an old one!>> (Real masters of that strategy always keep some dust to sprinkle it over the box)  ;)
