I missed this first time around but glad I found it now.
Really beautiful work. You just changed my mind for my next build, it was going to be a Glencoe Nieuport 28 but not now.

Great job, thanks for helping....
Thanks,
Allan Buttrick

Thank you. I made a short build log in the German Revel Forum. There you can find a little bit more: https://community.revell.de/viewtopic.php?t=10277

Rafael... your Sopwith Triplane build is amazing, and the build log you provided is so helpful. Congratulations on completing such a beautifully crafted and precise model of this important WWI subject. I do have one question, and that is that I understand one of the unique features of Black Flight was that not only were the cowls painted black, but also the fin. I notice from your photos that it seems you painted the fin the same PC-12 Brown as RNAS/RFC aircraft. I am curious why you did not paint the fin black? Thanks, and again, your build and detailed photos are second to none.

Really done to a superb standard. I love the way you did the weathering, not too heavy but enough to see it on there and sweeping back in the direction of flight.

Thanks to all of you for your kind words. I did not expect that thread coming up again  ;)

I notice from your photos that it seems you painted the fin the same PC-12 Brown as RNAS/RFC aircraft. I am curious why you did not paint the fin black? Thanks, and again, your build and detailed photos are second to none.

Actually you are the first on who mentioned it. And to be honest, it was a mistake. I saw another triplane also with brown fin (obviously with the same error). When I realized the mistake, it was too late.
With a lot of effort, I could repaint it. But with some risk of damaging more than correcting. I haven't decided yet.
