Thank you all very much for your kind comments.
The Roland C.II is currently on a break, I am busy with a WingnutWings Fokker D.VII (OAW).
This model belongs to a fellow model builder who does not have the possibility for airbrush painting.
So no primer etc. as a base for the Aviattik-Lozenge.
Well, we both arranged a deal - he assembles the model in parts and I do the painting, decaling, sealing and weathering work for him.
When my part of the work is done, I will send it back across Germany to him and he will then assemble the model completely.
I used Tamiya Gloss-White as a base for the Aviattik-Lozenge.
The remaining colors were used according to the instructions in the WingnutWings building instructions.
The Aviattik-Lozenge is excellent to work with, but does not fit the model correctly in terms of the ribbon spacing.
Here it is advantageous to divide the wing lozenges into smaller sections in order to "adjust" the rib spacing somewhat.
The Rudolf Windisch marking of the Jasta66s shows a very early Fokker (OAW) 2035/18 from the first construction batch 2000-2199.
The decals are the Lifelike Fokker D.VII decals #32019 part 4.
Be careful with these decals with decal softer, they react very VERY sensitively.
