All,

While I mess with the Vimy and get ready to go across the country to a paper model convention, I am working on this little guy from Scissors and Planes.  I rigged it, painted the prop with clear orange and still need some details like control wires and the wheels.  But I wanted to show the status so far.  I really wish I'd taped and highlighted the rib tapes and some fuselage longerons, but maybe next time.

One of the themes for the convention this year is any paper model starting with "A".  This will fit the bill and should be dang easy to transport!  Tacoma to Virginia.  No worries.

Who knew these little guys were so addictive?!

Thanks for viewing the progress and back to the Vimy really soon...Dan

I just finished the little Aviatik.  I made my own balsa wheels and then added some post shading with my airbrush and a very thin dirty black/brown around some parts to break up the monochrome surface.  I like it a lot and I could certainly see a whole air force in this scale in the future.  No want for subjects!

Thanks for looking and now...back to the Vimy.

Thanks for indulging...Dan

P.S.  I was also bad. Look what came to my door step yesterday from Poland!  It's a sickness, really.

Lovely work Dan, but oh dear...whatever shall you do with those strays?  ;D
