WIP: 1/32 DFW C.V Palestine Theater Field Mod Radiator

One of my Patreon subscribers has commissioned me to to create what appears to have been a one-off cooling solution for a DFW C.V, which was captured by Australian armed forces in 1918. As it happens, he has a photo of his Granddad with that very aicraft at the time:


The radiator in question appears to be similar to / possibly derived from a Windhoff unit designed for a Sablatnig seaplane:

If so, in this instance, the expansion cells as shown in the drawings are not fitted, and there is a kind of weird fairing fitted to the front. There also appears to be a header tower similar to those found on German airfoil radiators:





This is my interpretation, based on the Windhoff drawings, the photos and my understanding of how these things work. There is conjecture here, but hopefully educated...

My patron has finished his build using the field mod radiator I provided -- methinks it came out pretty nicely!:
