Thanks Zac - I used Ammo EZ line in the cockpit but found it to curl up a lot and make things harder. This new mono line seems to be easier to control for me

Thanks Steve! I have asked myself a few times if it would have been better with a practice kit since I made quite a few mistakes.
Thank you Richie

Soo an update on the rigging and the model.
Sorry but this is a story about me complaining about my lack of experience with WW1. However i'm still learning and enjoying the model. Just had a bit of bad luck here at the end of the build.
Rigging...
Honestly it's not my proudest work, but i'm happy to have it done (mostly). I had trouble with eyelets and turnbuckles being pulled out. Thought my pull test on them was good enough, turns out I need to do better at my preparations (drilling, eyelet length and amount of CA).
Worst was the Albatros turnbuckles. They just kept snapping the ca glue and being pulled out. I had mistakenly not drilled and glued them in before I stated rigging. I thought i would be able to align them with the rigging line on and glue them into place

So in the end i used more ca than i would have liked and they are not perfect in line with the rigging line.... but they are done.
Lessons learned for my next build

Also the 4 lines in front of the windshield had to go. Long story short - the EZ line I had used for the internal rigging - wasn't working for me. Hanging mono lines down just looked wrong.
Another mistake I made was mounting the landing gear the wrong way around... Stupid mistake since I looked so many times at the manual

Anyways managed to pop the gear off and do everything (including rigging) over again.
Oh and I dropped some glue when installing the radiator pipes - it ate away the paint

I will attempt a repair or make it into a interesting stain / leak from the radiator.
Enough rambling... Here's some pictures!

My gule accident. Lucky it was on the underside.
