For further inspiration to build a Hanriot, have a look these hi-res images covering TVAL's original, restored Hanriot HD1:

Really nice photos.  I had no idea how close the air intakes for the carburetor and the fuel tank were to the pilot.  It's practically in his lap!

James,
 Thanks for the pictures.
Is this the Hanriot that came over from the RAF museum Hendon?

Cheers,
Bob

Yes it is Bob. TVAL sent across an Albatros DVa, an RE8 and a Sopwith Snipe (non-flyable) and in return received a Farman F40 (which needed restoration), the Hanriot (which didn't need too much done to become flyable again) and a very decrepit Sopwith 1 1/2 Strutter. Not sure if there was any more involved in the swap, maybe some parts etc

Hi all,
Final renders of the Hanriot HD-1 and HD-2 float in 1:32 scale (there will also be a HD-2 wheeled version).

Hi,

You'll have to watch out for the carburettor outlet on the sides of the Hanriot HD.2 hood (I'm not sure if I'm wrong about the function of these tube outlets).

It was not positioned in the same place as the Hanriot HD.1.

Eduard had made the same mistake.

Hi Arnaud,
I should have stated why I posted the photograph  ;)
It was to show the carburettor air intake position, as you correctly pointed out  :)

Regarding the HD-2, that large hatch looks different from the HD-1 as well.
The renders look nice, although I freely admit I just can't warm up to the Hanriot... I am really happy for those that have been waiting for a long time for a model of this aircraft!

Beautifully done by Lukgraph.  Will wait to see what CSM offers as resin is not really my thing.  All the best to Lukgraph.

Is it too early to write to Santa? I have, after all, been a good boy  ;D

I'm very excited to see these kits in the wild and on the forum.
