Albatros D.III. 1/32 Roden
« on: February 16, 2023, 03:48:14 AM »
Another older build. Very much OOB. I didn’t detail this as much as it was a commission build. I didn’t like the kit decal offerings so decided on one I could cobble together from spares.

Aircraft is Otto Hunzinger’s  D.751/17 from Jasta Boelke early summer 1917. The personal markings are his initials OH visible from all sides:

Thanks for  looking in!

Tim

First class in every way. The staining on the tail surfaces is most realistic.

I think 1:32 is your scale. Stick to it  ;)

Tim,

I've always hoped that your one weakness was only building in the one true scale.  ( ;))
So much for that idea.  This is just lovely.  Extremely well done!

Beautifully done Tim, the client must be very pleased with what you have produced for them. Anybody would be so happy to have it on display.

Very nice.  As others have said, these Roden kits can come up really nicely.

Sorry I missed this one Tim, a bit late to the party here  ;) very nicely done. And nice to see this scheme modelled so well.
