I'm pretty sure Sir PJ is not being malevolent, he's just a hoarder. Any video I've seen of his collection shows masses of items with no rhyme or reason to categorization. I would suggest he's not denying the moulds to other manufacturers, it's just part of his stuff. WE want his kits re issued but do kit companies REALLY want to get involved? I know I'm speaking like a heretic but the accountants run the show. The last shot of kits was probably sold mostly to speculators not builders and subject matter did not drive demand. Cruel words I know....

Neither of us got a look in after they closed either
Well, NZ did get a last-chance sale of sorts although you had to go to an airshow to buy the things:

This is pure guesswork and supposition but it might be that Wingnut group have held back the brown box kits for airshow sales involving TVAl, or they have been sold to a retailer yet to be identified.

So how many down under managed to get hold of their kits from the airshow?

I remember from social media some people who were proud of their purchases... And I was envious... ;) And I still am  ;D

Interestingly, Hannants listed one of the brown box Albatros kits on their website when they first logged the awaited WNW delivery for backorder - but it was withdrawn within a few days. They must have thought they were getting some initially but then had their expectations corrected.

From memory (it was last February) the sales team still had some kits to take back. I should've revisited the stand later in the day but I had my nephew with me.

The speculation and panic (not everyone) is pretty frustrating...Kotare Models - maybe they can step in ;)

Yeah, I had several on my wish list and just got the email from them. Bought the 3 I really wanted. If Andy's come through with my pre-order, I'll end up with 2 of the Albatros BII. Like that's a problem. :)

I received my first batch of Wingnut Wings kits from Sprue Brothers today.  Each one is encapsulated in cellophane.  I haven't seen this before.

Hi Stuart, SB seals all their kits (if not done by original source)
