Clear Prop Models DH.9a Early
« on: August 31, 2022, 01:19:25 AM »
Clear Prop Models has posted images of the sprues, p/e, decals, etc. of their 1/72nd scale DH.9A on the Facing Book. It looks beautiful, especially the fabric wrinkling on the fuselage:

Just poured over my CMR DH9A and clear prop seems to have eclipsed the excellent CMR kit.Certain areas the CMR has crisper detail around the exhaust manifold, but Clear prop wins in my humble opinion and I hope that they produce more WW1 kits as well as the excellent Arma Models, one can hope!

My thoughts too. I'm not even a fan of this a/c, but the moldings look so nice, that I'm almost tempted.

Clear prop make excellent kits, this will be a contender for the best Great war type in 1/72. I hope they’ll be able to get it out soon, in a situation like this.

I got hold of my DH9a a couple of weeks ago. I can certainly say that this is an excellent looking kit in all regards. It should be a pleasure to build.

I understand that Clear Prop have a late version planned also.
