Thanks Bob...this one is so pugnacious and colorful, it really keeps one's interest high!
Tonight I sprayed the cowling and attached it. Also added the top ailerons. I also started on attaching the bottom wings which took a little head scratching so those will be finished tomorrow. All in all, she's on track!

Tonight I made the interplanes and mounted the top wing. I'll work on the cabanes tomorrow.

I Must apologize for missing so much of this build Dan! Your SSW is gorgeous! I love the scheme and it will look awesome next to that Beautiful Roden build. As always I am amazed by the quality of the paper patterns and your work!

Thanks Rick and Bob. Don't worry, Rick! I can't keep up with all of your builds (or anyone else's for that matter) and only get a smattering of what's out there. Humbled on a daily basis.

I got the cabanes installed as well as the landing gear, spreader bar and wheels. They'll need a bit of touch-up but the biggest thing left is making the Siemens-Halske 11 cylinder engine. Oh, boy!

Thank you, Rick and Alexa...yes! At some point, these really start to go fast. I MAY be able to finish it tomorrow. We'll see.

Tonight I made the engine and installed it. It is a tight fit so I could not make it spin which kind of stinks...but it still looks neat under that cowling.

In one picture, the darn auto focus was on one of my critics at the table.

I think the last hard part will be the wing fillets. We'll see!

Thanks for looking and commenting. I put the completed pics in the Completed Models area. It turned out pretty darn well!

I can't wait to start another one. Tinkering with the idea of an Se-5...we'll see!
