Thanks for the kind comments.
You are right Frank, the blue is not the right one, but it was the best I could get. I had to use Tamiya. Vallejo make a better match but I found it difficult to get hold of.

Hi Edo,
I painted the mono when it was in place.
I painted it in stages as I went so that I could reach all the hard to get at places and not get caught out at the end with some difficult to reach. I thinned the blue with thinners about 50%/50% and used a fine tipped brush.

wow! all my respects, sir, as it is a VERY hard work....
I ususlly paint mine in advance with a Sharpie, but the result is not as good as yours, but I won’t try to emulate you... I am too sure I’ll end up with a mess
