Well said all.
Roden were largely responsible for my return to the hobby, and I'm hugely grateful for what they've offered us over the years, in several scales.
The staff and their families are very much in ones thoughts.
Mark

That is also well said! Roden has been a Huge influence on My Modeling!

Thanks for the messages of support for our model friends in the Ukraine. Unfortunately we have had to delete two posts which were political in nature - that is not the business of this forum and never will be.

My original post was to show support for the staff and families of Roden, a company which has actively supported this Forum since early in 2012. They deserve our support.

However we also extend our concerns and hopes for peace and safety to the other model businesses based in the Ukraine- most notably Alex Belov of Proper Plane, ICM Holdings and MiniArt - all of whom, like Roden, are based in Kyiv (Kiev).

We wish peace and safety to them and their families.

Thought and best wishes go out to Vladimir and all the Roden team, as well as, like Dave said,  those at Proper plane, ICM, and MiniArt. Regards, Pete in RI

Hear hear - it's only in recent months that I've realised just how many kit design and production companies are in Ukraine.

There are more kit manufacturer of aircraft models, which was not mentioned yet: Amodel, AviS, AMP, Clear Prop!, Dora Wings
And I'm sure there are more.
These companies have made a bunch of new models available to us in the last few years!

Cheers,
Frank

The carol "Lo how a rose ere blooming's" opening verse says  "Lo how a rose ere blooming with sweetness fills the air
dispel in glorious splendor the darkness everywhere."  I pray the Price of Peace  will touch the hearts of men.

I hope everybody will be able to use his common sense, and I wish all of our friends in the Ukraine, manufacturers and modelers alike a good outcome of this strenuous situation.

The President of Roden, Vladimir Chumak, has sent his sincere thanks to Forum members for your support of their safety during these stressful times in the Ukraine.

Vladimir has seen the Forum messages of support and says "Having been engaged in collection models for more than 20 years, the most important thing for us is to feel in a team of creative people devoted to this hobby and respecting our history."

We hope Roden's team and the other model companies based in the Ukraine can continue to be safe and focus on the hobby products that have made them famous and respected around the world.
