Saw one of these on Ebay a short time ago.  Does anyone know what ever happened to Clay-More Models?  The model looked to be a pretty nice first effort.  Is there any other option other than the AJP Maquettes Ca.3.

The smaller cottage industry model makers can have rather short life spans - which can make their models incredibly difficult to procure once their issue is done.  If another Clay-More Ca.3 shows up in the for sale threads I will be taking better notice.  If nothing presents I may try my hand at one of those Maquettes models - not really comfortable with photo-etch models but it is kind of the only alternative at the moment.  Maybe Copper State will  make an effort ...in 1/48.

Hi Tony,

The Ca.3 is a wonderful aircraft.

There is a kit in 1/72 by Choroszy Modelbud, but it is not for the fainthearted. I am still very daunted by it so it is still in the stash. It is really just a box of resin bits. The instructions are very basic so you will definitely need the appropriate Windsock files.

And then of course there is this wonderful build log of Ron Kootje’s 1/32 scratch build:
