Thank you for the kind comments. Funny how the solution finally pops into your head after weeks of pondering over all the wrong answers! Of course once I got down to it, it only took half an hour to cut and apply the outlined numbers!

One thing that has been bothering me is the spindly tailskid which just did not look right so, back to the only photograph of B6768 that I know and - off with the old and on with the new. More appropriate tailskid added.

Just got the footstep, prop and gun to add now - and the final detail shading and overall finishing. Tally Ho!

That decal is so clever and beautifully done. I'm very much looking forward to seeing the completed model. It really does look amazing!

Thanks Richie, we're just about there now.
Footstep, Pitot tube, gun support added - just the lewis really to go on now.
Of course la petite femme fatale had not given up that easily: when I started to spray the satin coat, my Neo airbrush just would not emit anything, so I switched to the H&S but again problems there - probably with my Galeria/water mix - so she ended up being top-coated via a cheap chinese rip-off brush! Huh, lots of stripping and cleaning for me today.

Anyway, this is probably last post pre-completion - but you can see I've a few more in the background to get on with - maybe none as pretty as this one though!

Thanks Alexis - I'm afraid the stash problem is much greater than just shown in the previous pic!!!
(There's also a pile of WNWs in the big cupboard!)
