The CAD renderings look awesome! This will certainly be My first AH aircraft to be built in any scale  8)

The HB D.1 certainly looks good but the one I am dreaming of is the 1/32 Caudron!

Anyone know anything about the timeline on that?

Glad that the D.I is still planned for release - I had feared it had been axed.

It is probably my most wanted subject of all of their announced future releases.

And wow those 3d renders look fantastic....

Mine too Patrick, although I'm happy to get my hands on any 1/32 and 1/35 offerings from Edgar.
Cheers,
Dave.

Hi all,
I wonder how much work would be required for CSM to create a Phönix D.IIa from this model.
Apart from the wing struts, wing span and weapon location, there are a lot of similarities.
Phönix based their design on the license built Hansa-Brandenburg.
Just thinking out aloud  ;)

Mike, you can ask Edgar from CSM directly, he is a very responsive, customer-friendly guy!

Good observation, Mike.
Or we can buy two kits and convert one ourselves into a Phönix - although given Edgar's variations on a Nieuport theme, a similar segue into Phönix construction would make a lot of commercial sense.

What an excellent suggestion, some A-H subjects in 1/32 would be very welcome.
Cheers,
Dave.

Perhaps converting it to a Hansa Brandenburg KDW, with floats of course!

One can dream right?

That KDW on floats is just so appealing! First time I've ever seen that.... And as for the D.1 - just gotta get that! One of my all time favourites... The Berg fighters would also appeal a lot, but I reckon the kit manufacturers stay away as there are just so many versions and detail differences...
