Andonio - Superb!!!

I like the colour scheme/markings and I think you weathering on this model is spot on.

Nice finish and a great display. A photo of the pilot with the model always gives a very personal touch.

Andonio,
My compliments on a very nice build, she's a real "eye catcher" in that colour scheme. I am really impressed with the display base; can you tell more about the photo and crest with the printing, is it done at home on a printer or did you have to get it done commercially? it's a very nice touch and sets off your model beautifully.
Cheers,
Lance

Dear Lance, thanks for your appreciation, the graphics you see on the base are self made from samples taken from the web (the gryphon for example was the 91a squadriglia crest).
The photo of Giorgio Pessi was kindly sent to me by Tomasz Gronczewski who studied that particular plane for his great book about the SPAD VII. It is a beautiful picture and it shows clearly the plane with the personal markings...

Everything was printed using my home inkjet and (Elmers) glued to the display base.
The grass is the one used for cribs which is very common in Italy.

Ciao

Antonio
