How did you make the masks for the registration numbers?  (I'm not sure that's what they are called, but the numbers on the tail.)

I spent a bit looking at this yesterday and am back looking at it again today.  Great work!

Hi phil2015!
Several years ago I needed a special decal, but couldn't really find a good way of getting it. To make a long story short, that quest ended with me getting a Silhuette Cameo 2 cutting machine. I use that to cut vinyl paint masks so that I can avoid using decals as much as possible. The serial number on the fin is made with such a mask. You can see a bit of how it's used if you go here https://forum.ww1aircraftmodels.com/index.php?topic=11510.msg214684#msg214684

Ask again if you have more questions.

thanks, fredrik.  My wife has one of those of a different brand and it doesn't do a great job with letters.  Looks like she bought the wrong tool for my hobby  >:( ;D
