Outstanding work Kent! Really looing like a w4 now. I am beginning to think you might be the first person I have seen start one of these conversions to actually finish  8)

Me too Rick, seriously - You never know before some of the crucial stages of a build like this has been accomplished...

I've been worrying for some time now, how to fit fit the floats without a nerve wrecking 'battle' - I always seem to 'f*ck' these pivotal points of a build.

Surprise! It took 5 mins, without any trouble at all - You just sit back and wonder, 'how did that happen'?

I'm just so relieved this turned out so well.

Very well done.  I spent a few hours trying to get the floats back on my Eduard W4 a few weeks ago (They came off in my last house move).  Eventually gave up and put it back in the box.

Cheers,

Hugh

Sneak peak of the Albatros W.4.

Half way's through the rigging, still all of the rigging of the floats are not done, the elevator's also missing, but it's beginning to look like a W.4.

Thank you Bob, Andreas & Rick!

I'm very happy with the Albatros W.4 build, it's been pretty straightforward.
Not as some of my other conversions, 'dragging' on for months.

Rick: That would indeed be amazing if Roden were to 'update' their D.I kit into the W.4!

Let me see, new wings, reshaped tail plane and then the floats.
