Jan Olieslagers Sopwith Camel
« on: March 06, 2021, 05:14:43 AM »
I can never take a decent photo, but I owe it to the generosity of a couple of forum members to post pictures of my recently completed WNW Camel.

faf supplied me with the masks, but unfortunately I had to make my own as the Pheon decal instructions said the Belgium roundel was 1:2:3 not 1:3:5

Mmarchal generously gave me the remainder of his decals. Unfortunately I screwed up the cowling decal so I had to once again make my own masks.

Beautiful work on your Camel. The markings came out great in spite of your issues! I Love the very subtle weathering, especially the undersurface of the wings and the fuselage sides. Thanks for posting!!

How did I miss this? That is an excellent Camel, and as has been noted, a very interesting an colourful set of markings.

Very nice Camel indeed. Really attractive subtle tones on your paintwork. The weathering underneath is extremely well done.
Cheers,
Gary
