German Exterior Lozenge Camouflage Overpainted
« on: February 04, 2013, 02:03:35 PM »
For the Fokker D.VII, if the exterior German lozenge camouflage is over-painted with another color (for example:  5 color lozenge linen over-painted red) should the gloss base paint for the interior cockpit lozenge decals be red to give the illusion of translucence?  If yes, should the red be a lighter, the same or a darker tint?

Thank you for your assistance.

Der Rote Jagdflieger hat's recht!!
No matter what the original finish (Flugzeugstoff, paint, or CDL) since the original fabric would be overcoated,  the inner surface of the fabic would not be affected.
